Welcome to My World of Bees!
Beekeeping is one of the most rewarding endeavors I have ever undertaken. I have a long way to go but I am always learning. When I first began, the protection that a suit and full gear provided was comforting. However, I wanted to create a much more symbiotic relationship with my hives, so I quickly ditched the layers. Bees react to the energy around them. Much like horses and dogs, bees can sense fear and anxiety. Before I begin work, I have to prepare by getting into a relaxed and confident state of mind. I am still astounded by the relationship I have developed with these beautiful little creatures and I love sharing my experiences.

As our site grows, we will include tutorials about rescuing and raising bees, the importance of conservation efforts, and how you can make a difference too. A portion of all sales supports Planet Bee Foundation, a nationwide non-profit dedicated to educating students about the importance of bees through a unique hands-on approach.

Our Story
More than 20 years ago, my business partner and I started a real estate sales & marketing company called ‘The BHIVE’. Turns out, the social structure inside of a beehive rivals the world’s best run corporations. Each bee carries out a specific function that contributes to the overall good of the hive. Older bees teach younger bees how to make honey and perform tasks to perfection for maximum productivity. We carried this model over to the world of high-pressure luxury real estate sales with great success. After a while we wondered, ‘why don’t we have our own hives and make honey part of our client gifts?’
With the seed of ‘beekeeping’ planted in my mind, I started experimenting with one hive. It quickly turned into two and then three hives. I wasn’t prepared for it to change my life. The relationship I have developed with my bees is like nothing I have ever experienced and I want to share it through videos, tutorials, merchandise, and of course, a wide array of honey varietals
